About LF Digital Design

LF Digital Design was set up by Louis Féat in the winter of 2008 which, given the financial climate, was at the very least an exercise in optimism.

About Louis Féat:

"After graduating in 1996 with a degree in Time-based Media from the Kent Institute of Art & Design at Maidstone, I worked as a production assistant, tape operator, camera operator and, primarily, a video editor on many corporate and broadcast productions.

I eventually settled down in the role of Head of Production for Cube Music Ltd, a music marketing and retail entertainment company which provided promotional routes to all the major record companies as well as music video and audio programming to high street giants such as Topshop/Topman (described as 'legendary' by The Guardian) and H&M. During this time we also developed the innovative Chemistry CD burning touch screen kiosks with Liquid Audio and Topshop Oxford Circus as well as winning awards for audio-visual work such as the BodyCraze exhibition at Selfridges & Co. Oxford Street. Cube Music Ltd was acquired by Immedia Plc in 2006.

At this time I also managed and promoted some very loud rock bands. None of which 'made it'.

 

After another stint editing, producing and directing videos for corporate clients such as Procter & Gamble, Unilever and Great Ormond Street Hospital, I decided to embrace the digital revolution and embarked on a Masters degree in Digital Media at Kingston University, graduating with Distinction in 2008.

Since then I have been honing my design skills, researching many of the interesting aspects of digital culture and developing online ecommerce solutions"
